Bjorn Blythe

Physiotherapist

Bjorn is from County Down, and graduated from Campbell College – just up the road from Arches. He won an NCAA Scholarship in tennis, a sport he discovered early in life, and obtained a BSc Hons in exercise sciences with tennis coaching in the United States.

Bjorn is a qualified holistic personal trainer and tennis coach, and has worked and coached in Los Angeles, England and Northern Ireland. He has lectured on sports massage therapy to FE students in England and Northern Ireland. As a Level 4 sports massage therapist, he was part of the core medical team at the recent women’s rugby World Cup, and was a member of the physiotherapy support team at the IAAF Games in Doha, Qatar.

He has expanded his education in England with an MSc in physiotherapy, and has completed postgraduate courses in western acupuncture.

Bjorn has recently worked in the NHS, and has five years’ experience in fitness and rehabilitation.
